Black Lake

We had a wonderful day today hiking with Dusty and Micki.
We parked up at Bear Lake, then hiked 6 miles to Black Lake
and then on up above Black Lake to the Keyboard of the Winds.
We have only done this hike one time before and that was
10 years ago. Wow, is it beautiful! Incredible waterfalls,
radiantly beautiful columbines, just amazing scenery all
along the way. The Keyboard of the Winds is cool because
it is right next to the back side of Long's Peak.
And it was just awesome doing this hike with
Dusty and Micki. Dusty said this was one of
the most beautiful hikes he has been on.
And remember, Dusty and Micki hiked
for a month in Tibet last October!
I am thankful to be in such
good health that I can
hike 13 miles in such
incredible places
as where we
were today.
